Stress Relief Games Are Not an Oxymoron – How to Lower Your Stress by Playing Games Online and Off

Stress relief games? Not too long ago, I hadn’t even heard of the concept. But then, life used to be a whole lot less stressful. Most people’s daily routines gave them all the tension relief they needed. But times have changed. In the age of multi-tasking and ever-expanding workloads, we need all the help we can get to allow our bodies and our emotions to recover from that constant stress overload.

One effective way to ease stress is by physical activity, and sitting in front of a computer all day doesn’t qualify. People used to haul bales of hay, sweep stairs, or plough fields as part of their days’ work, and if they were stressed, that surely would have taken care of excess stress hormones. But what are we supposed to do in cubicle world?

As it turns out, stress relief games, some of them available right on your computer, are just the ticket. If you’re an internet junkie, you probably know all about them already. There are entire websites that specialize in games for stress relief.

If you’d rather get away from the computer, though, there are some excellent offline games you can play as well.

The key is to find games that offer an escape from stress rather than create more of it. Some computer games can easily have the opposite effect from what you want to achieve. You want games that take your mind off whatever is causing tension by making you focus on something else. But you don’t want to start getting stressed all over again.

Here’s a case in point of what can happen: personally, I find Sudoku quite relaxing – but only if it’s not too difficult. It has to be hard enough to be absorbing, but not so hard that I’m starting to worry that I can’t solve it. Some people actually time themselves when doing Sudoku – probably part of making it competitive, but that would spoil it for me.

Here are 5 of the best stress relief games you play to tame excess tension

1. Card games, like Solitaire, that involve logical thinking. You can do these on the computer or the traditional way with a deck of cards.

2. Word games that use your creative and logical thinking processes. When you involve both sides of your brain in an activity, there is little room to focus on the stress.

3. Puzzles of various kinds, like chess, checkers and crosswords. Challenges that are not stressful can be both fulfilling and a relief. These are especially good if your stress is being caused by an especially difficult project. Winning a few games helps restore your confidence and puts you in a better frame of mind to tackle that project. Oh, and of course, Sudoku belongs in that category.

4. Computer games can be fun and relaxing or stressful, so choose wisely. Arcade games can relieve a lot of pent-up tension and anger, but if a time limit is put on the game, this can add to your stress level. If you are adversely affected by certain games, choose different ones next time.

5. Games involving physical activity are especially good for relieving stress, especially if they’re played outdoors. Tennis and golf are two time-tested favorites. The physical exertion decreases the levels of stress hormones that have built up in your body.

Next time you feel the tension rising, take a break. Search online for games that you can enjoy while reducing your stress levels. If time and opportunity permit, get away for awhile. Hit the golf course or tennis court for a quick game.

Tacfit Commando Review – Do These Home Workout Plans Work?

Do the Tacfit Commando home workout plans really work, or are they just another overhyped rehashed fitness product? This is basically a body workout system that is used to develop flexibility, strength in leanness within the elite military forces designed specifically for civilians. Developed by professional coach Scott Sonnon, this system has already been tested and proven by elite commando units for many years now and is set to be revealed in the Tacfit Commando training package.

1. What I Have Learned From Going Through The Tacfit Commando System

There is a 119 page program manual that describes all the steps of the system and how to go about getting started. Every exercise introduced in this training program can be done in 3 different sophistication levels. The higher the levels are, the more difficult the exercise is to perform.

2. Will Tacfit Commando Techniques Work For You Too?

At the start, you will be required to work out your own body fitness levels and then plan your workouts based on the commando mission calendar provided. Beginners are recommended to start off with the easiest sophistication levels and get used to the movement before progressing to increase the difficulty gradually as their bodies get stronger.

3. Review of the Tacfit Commando Learning Materials

The main bulk of this program is actually within the training videos that really make up most of the training package. The training eBook manual is just a small section of the entire package, but I have found that the training videos are much easier to understand.

There is an upgraded version that I chose to use which allowed me to download the same videos that can be uploaded to my iPhone directly because they are in the right file format. The training videos really act like a live trainer and they can be accessed in any part of the world as long as the member has access to the Internet.

How to Get Rid of Acne Redness For Good

If you want to get rid of acne redness, reading this article can help you get started in your acne treatment program. Unfortunately a large percentage of the population suffer from acne at some point in their life. Acne redness can be particularly embarrassing as it gives the face (or other affected area) a permanent flush and is very noticeable. Many people still suffer from acne redness even after the spots have disappeared – this can be due to scarring or irritation of the skin. There is hope though and various treatments ranging from natural treatments to even surgery – but I advise the natural approach if possible!

To get rid of acne redness you will need to tackle the acne itself first and do your best to tackle the root of the problem. Acne is usually brought about by hormonal increases, lack of skin hygiene but can also be caused and aggravated by nutritional deficiencies, food allergies, intolerances, poor diet and bad skin care. Acne redness can be made worse by picking of spots and skin agitation. Very often one can benefit from increasing skin hygiene by properly cleansing the skin twice daily with an antiseptic wash and avoiding squeezing spots! There are some effective skin care products for acne which can help but this is only a surface handling – to resolve acne for good, you need to dig a bit further and get to the true cause of the problem. Also, avoid harsh skin products which may be drying out your skin too much and causing further agitation and redness of the skin.

Often seeing a nutritionist and dermatologist can help but these can be expensive and sometimes it is hard to find good specialists. Another suggestion is to try one of the information products available on how to tackle acne naturally at home. These often include education on what successful nutritional and skin care steps to follow.

The other option is to resort to medication to handle acne but I do not advise this unless all other attempts have failed. There are various medications used to handle acne. One of the milder treatments is the oral contraceptive pill used to treat women with acne. This is used to re-balance a hormonal imbalance, although the vast majority of women do not have a hormonal imbalance but it is effective for those who do. Other treatments include antibiotics and medications such as Isotretinoin and Nicotinamide. Antibiotics can be effective but the body can only tolerate being on them for limited periods – so this may not be the ideal long-term solution. Some of the medications like Isotretinoin can have harmful side effects ranging from skin peeling to severe depression! Therefore, I advise you try a natural approach first and attempt to handle acne without drugs or harsh chemicals first.

Acne scarring can be another source of lasting acne redness and can be treated by certain surgical procedures like dermabrasion and chemical peels. These can be uncomfortable though and again, a natural approach may be able to help the body heal itself and reduce scars and acne redness. For instance, vitamin E is very effective in helping reduce scars but it is not the only natural treatment available. A nutritional and natural skin care program could go a long way in helping calm the skin down and heal scars and therefore reduce acne redness.

Acne redness can be reduced by reducing any acne one currently has and then taking further steps to handle any scarring and skin agitation if needed. Usually if acne is handled fast enough, the risks of scarring can be greatly reduced. A natural approach is best as it can assist the body to heal itself, and a total program which tackles the problem from all angles is suggested. It is best to avoid medications and harsh surgical procedures if possible.

Yoga and Psoriasis: Bend and Breathe Your Way to Better Skin

So what do you know about yoga? For me, yoga evokes an image of rows of people wearing loose-fitting clothes and attempting to balance whilst their bodies are twisted into Tetris shapes. As you can tell, I don’t know much about it, which made me even more skeptical when I heard that yoga could improve psoriasis. I didn’t have a mat, and I certainly didn’t have the right flexibility to swing my foot around my neck and balance on my toe. But, I did have one thing – psoriasis – and a willingness to try anything. Here is what I found out about yoga and psoriasis.

Yoga is a practice that originated in ancient India, in a field that is now called Ayurvedic medicine. Over the thousands of years that people have been twisting and turning under its name, its core principle has remained the same – to heal, integrate and balance the mind, body and spirit.

To achieve this goal, yoga combines breathing exercises, meditation and physical postures. It is a holistic approach to health and wellbeing that calms the nervous system and balances the energy systems of the body. This relates well to psoriasis because it is a condition that is more than skin deep, and thus treating it successfully means that you need to reach further than your tube of steroid cream.

How Does Yoga Help Psoriasis?

The first way that yoga helps psoriasis is through stress reduction and relaxation. As you slowly sink from one posture to another, all the while concentrating on slow, controlled breathing, there is no time to think and worry or you’ll end up eating your yoga mat. Yoga helps to draw you away from your chaotic, busy day, and puts you into a calm, restful but energizing state. In fact, it is so calming that researchers have actually found that it “switches off” the stress genes. Studies on war veterans with PTSD, emotionally distressed adults and adults suffering from anxiety and panic attacks all confirm that yoga can improve mental health and wellbeing.

This is great news for psoriasis. As many of you will know, stress is a major trigger for the majority of psoriatics. Worrying about all the day-to-day headaches such as hitting that 100-page report deadline at work, preparing a nice dinner, getting through the traffic jam for 9AM… can leave you with a major psoriasis flare-up! Not only does stress exacerbate skin problems, but it means treatments take longer to work. By unrolling the yoga mat for 30 minutes a day and putting your body through a range of poses where you are completely and utterly focused on balancing and breathing, you can really quieten your mind in a beneficial way. I still can’t touch my toes, but I have found that after a yoga session I have more peace-of-mind and a better attitude towards psoriasis.

The second way in which yoga helps psoriasis is through the physical exercise side of it. The most recognizable part of yoga is the asanas, or postures, and they come in a range of colorful names and shapes. From downward-facing dog, to cow face, cockerel and scorpion, there are many postures to bend your body into, and enough of them to cater to every level, from the most wooden of beginners to the ones made from rubber. Practicing these poses is great for psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis in particular, because the exercises are low-impact, they make you stronger and improve your range-of-motion. Apart from that, doing the poses stimulates the circulatory and excretory systems, helping you to expel toxins in the body, which is of great benefit to psoriasis.

Yoga and psoriasis is often an underexplored treatment that can act as a good complement to the normal array of options that are thrown at psoriasis. With something as simple as yoga, where you only need time and maybe a comfortable yoga mat to start right away, it makes sense to give it a go. Look out for our future article on the top 5 yoga poses for psoriasis – because certain poses can alleviate skin disorders better than other ones!

Tahitian Monoi Oil for Natural Skin and Hair Care

I was extremely excited when I first learned about the benefits of using natural coconut oil on my skin and hair! And, I’ve been using food-grade, natural, coconut oil as a hair and skin conditioner for a few months now with excellent results.

My skin is softer, and my dark hair is sleek and shiny. Oh, and some people think I smell quite lovely, too. You can’t beat that yummy coconut fragrance.

The benefits of using Coconut Oil – a product ignored and misunderstood for hundreds of years in the Western world (but not in the East) – are good. So you can imagine my delight when I read about French-Tahitian Monoi Oil in one of my favorite magazines. Oh, yes! I made a snap decision step-up my game and try something new.

First, a bit of background: In its purest state, Monoi de Tahiti is the result of macerating the tiare flower, an indigenous Tahitian gardenia, in refined coconut extract for at least 10 days, slowly infusing the oil with botanical nutrients a delicate, natural floral scent.

Monoi has played a prominent role in the Polynesian way of life for centuries, ancestral rites, in traditional medicine, local pharmacopoeia or in their personal care. Monoi continues to play a role in the rich Polynesian culture, today.

Unlike pure coconut-oil, I was unable to find Monoi oil in a non-cosmetic formulation. Okay, so it’s not for use in cooking.

A variety of cosmetic Monoi oil products is sold in trendy stores like Neiman Marcus and Saks starting at $60 and higher for 3 to 4 fl. ozs. These are packaged beautifully, and some brands are offered with a tiare in the bottle.

If you’re like me, a bargain always beats a luxury shopping experience. In that case, you can try Monoi Tiare Tahiti, which carries the Appellation d’Origine, a prestigious award granted to it by the French Government by Decree n. 92-340 in 1992. The Appellation d’Origine signifies that the product contains genuine Monoi de Tahiti. Monoi de Tahiti was a first for a cosmetic product to receive this French award that represents recognition of unique local expertise combined with the unique qualities and characteristics of the Polynesian soil. You’ll find Monoi Tiare Tahiti online for just $10 to $20, and the beautiful Tahitian gardenia is included, as well.

Monoi de Tahiti is truly a product of the tropics, and because natural Monoi contains no emulsifiers to keep it in a liquid state, it solidifies at temperatures below 68 F (20 C). This is perfectly natural. If it happens, simply run warm water over the container until the oil liquefies again.

So how did it work on my skin and hair? I am not sure if I will give up my daily coconut regimen, but, as a skin and hair conditioner, Monoi certainly works.

Monoi is made with highly refined coconut oil. As a skin moisturizer, it is lighter, and easier to massages into your skin. Thirsty skin absorbs Monoi quickly, and it leaves only a soft glow. Monoi feels fantastic on my skin, and the gardenia fragrance is positively divine.

Like coconut oil, Monoi de Tahiti is also an excellent hair conditioner. Pour a small amount into the palm of your hand and rub it into your hair. Shampoo the oil out after waiting 10 to 15 minutes. The oil penetrates the hair shaft and bonds to proteins to repair damaged hair, eyelashes, and brows, and actually fortifies them against breakage.

My hair looks and feels fantastic after using Monoi oil. (I have to confess that I also found myself dabbing a little into my hand and using my fingers to sweep away a few unruly wisps during the day. You can’t do that with pure coconut oil, which is thick and fibrous.)

Over all, I found Monoi oil to be an excellent skin and hair conditioner and moisturizer. And, it is the perfect product to carry in my purse for use during the day.

At the start simply do these exercises for a few minutes and when you first start, slowly increase it up to a half-hour at one step at a time and leave it at that limit. While you are squeezing your PC muscle you will feel the muscle around your anus working as well. What this does is increase the blood flow to the penis, which finally will add to your penis width. This is the perfect exercise to begin with, but to increase the quantity of blood moving to the numerous sections of your penis you must do more.

This next exercise calls for taking a hold of your penis head with the grasp of the okay symbol by creating the figure of the letter O with your forefinger and your thumb. Stretch out your penis in front and hold it in this position for no more than 10-15 seconds. After you have finished that lightly rub down your penis. Now continue to stretch and hold the penis for about 10-15 seconds in a upwards, left, right, straight and downward directions. Make sure you rub down between each repetition. If you have difficulty holding on to your penis we recommend using tissue paper or toilet tissue. Make sure you do not to extend your penis too far, this exercise should not be harmful in any way that might harm your penis.

The jelqing exercises calls for some type of lubrication. Baby oil will work just fine and it is affordable for any man. It is very important to do your penis stretching exercises prior to you doing any exercises to broaden your penis, because it will be that much easier to grab a hold of your penis. For this exercise get a semi erection, roughly about eighty percent. Then once more apply the okay grasp, beginning at the base of your penis and going up toward the head. While you are performing this exercise concentrate on forcing the blood up towards your penis head. Once you have made it to the head, change hands and keep doing around twenty-five of these jelqing exercises for the first seven days, and then add at least twenty five more every seven days. Within two months you will be doing two hundred jelqing exercises and just leave it at that. Just like every other penis enhancement exercise, always make sure you lightly rub down your penis after every repetition.

It is very important that you do warm ups and also do a warm down before and after you exercise by taking a lukewarm bath towel and for three minutes or so wrap up your penis.

Natural Ways to Treat Panic Attacks

Anxiety disorder affects many people. There are varying degrees and intensities for people who suffer from a form of anxiety disorder. More severe cases can cause the sufferer to be nearly completely disabled. Panic attacks are one of the most significant symptoms of an anxiety disorder.

Anxiety disorder is a double-header problem. What this means is that anxiety disorder is both physical and psychological. The factors that are directly responsible for the disorder cause issues that affect daily life. Most anxiety disorders are caused by higher levels of fear about something. Traumatic experiences lead to phobias. You actually believe that if you face what you are afraid of, your life is in danger. It is an overwhelming fear response. Your sudden fears then begin to escalate into panic attacks.

These attacks can be quite disturbing and add even more fear, which only makes things worse. You may have difficulty breathing or hyperventilate. You may also break out in a clammy sweat and feel suddenly flushed. Many people have also noticed changes in their vision and hearing. In fact, it is rather common for more severe attacks to actually cause fainting and black outs.

There are a few kinds of medications that are supposed to treat anxiety disorder. One group is for reducing your overall anxiety. The other group is designed to be taken during panic attacks to help make the attack less severe. In both cases, these medications do not always work. They also have some rather horrible potential side effects; like suicidal thoughts.

Like many other disorders, there are natural ways to treat the attacks from anxiety disorder. There are two focus points. First, you work on learning how to reduce your ongoing anxiety exposure. Then, you can learn how to get rid of the panic attacks.

Reducing your ongoing anxiety is more about taking better care of yourself. Your main point is to reduce your excessive stress. Too much stress is a big no-no. Stress is fuel for the fire; it feeds your anxiety. When your anxiety levels reach the boiling point, an attack is not far behind. The best natural ways to accomplish this goal include meditation and aromatherapy. Meditation and aromatherapy can be combined to help you learn how to relax both your body and your mind. When you learn how to keep your anxiety levels down, the frequency of your panic attacks will decrease.

It is almost impossible to stop all attacks; you are still going to have a few slips every once in a while. For these instances, you have to learn how to take control and reduce the severity of what you experience. Meditation is usually most effective. When you experience panic attacks, the symptoms you experience will continue to increase in severity, come to a peak, and then slowly subside. The relaxation and focus aversion that you learn in meditation can actually help.

How to Help Her Orgasm (Faster) – 3 Proven Tips For Better Orgasms For Her

One of the most frequent questions we get asked from men is how to help a woman have a faster orgasm. The simple truth is that women everywhere are struggling sexually to have rewarding orgasms, and for many of us, it is the number 1 reason why we leave relationships early. Not fair, huh? Well….normally I’d agree….but if you are a woman who simply can NOT experience the amazing and erotic highs of a mind melting orgasm because your MAN is not performing properly….it can be a very tough spot as well!

With this in mind, let’s look at 3 proven ways to help her have FASTER orgasms, and dare I say DEEPER ones to boot!

Read on below..:-)

Foreplay That is Focused on Her: Foreplay is ALWAYS phenomenal, but if you want to make her climax more quickly, you need to spend a TON of time doting on her in every way possible. Remember, a woman has MANY erogenous spots that transcend the obvious, and often, your girl will like things UNIQUELY suited to her (and her alike) Find out what they are by asking….and then amp UP the erotic energy by doing them!

The Clitoral Climax is Best: Yes, this is true, guys. The female clitoris is the ONLY spot on the human body (men and women alike) that is dedicated solely to receiving pleasure. If you spend the proper amount of time on this VERY sensitive and sexy spot, you are going to find she’s FAR more likely to orgasm, and MUCH more quickly than trying all kinds of new positions DURING sex itself.

Size Sometimes DOES Matter: But not penis length, rather, your girth or wonderful width can be an AMAZING aphrodisiac for a woman that helps her climax in a hurry. A woman’s most sensitive nerve endings are hit FAR better with a wide penis than a long one, and simple exercises to make sure YOUR body is getting them is a proven way to take her OVER the top…and in a hurry!
