How Enzymes, Lecithin, and Chlorophyll Reduce Acne

Systemic Enzymes

If you have scars or pockmarks that have recently occurred from acne, you may be able to clear them by using a product called Vitalzym.

You’re not going to hear this from your doctor or dermatologist, but systemic enzymes, such as serapeptase, which is found in Vitalzym, can remove excess fibrin, which makes up scar tissue that forms acne pockmarks.

Systemic enzymes have a different function from digestive enzymes. Systemic enzymes work in body organs, tissue, skin, and joints to remove excess fibrin, which accumulates in these areas. Systemic enzymes,

* Bring nutrient to damaged area

* Enhance wellness

* Help to speed repair of damage tissue

* Improves blood and lymphatic circulation

* Reduce inflammation

* Remove waste products

* Stimulate immune system

Digestive Enzymes

Digestive enzymes, however, are used to help you digest food that you eat. If you eat mostly processed foods, these foods don’t have digestive enzymes to help digest them selves. Your body has to pull them from deep within your body to digest food in your stomach or intestines.

Over many years of eating processed food instead of live food, like raw fruits and vegetables, your digestive enzyme supply will diminish and you will not digest food as good as when you were younger.

Supplementing your diet with digestive enzymes and taking them with every meal will insure that you digest your food properly. This will reduce the amount of undigested food that gets into the colon where toxic matter is formed. Also, this will minimize your chances of becoming constipated. Good digestion and colon function is necessary for preventing, clearing, or eliminating acne.

Lecithin

Lecithin is made from soybeans and is found in health food stores in yellow granules. It is an emulsifier, which is a substance that helps fats and nonfats to mixed and stay together without separating.

In the blood, lecithin keeps fats from forming large globes, which can create problems if your arteries are narrow. Lecithin also has many other benefits such as,

* Improves digestion and absorption of essential fatty acids

* Improves skin problems

* Improves memory

* Lowers cholesterol

Add 1-2 tablespoons of granules into your smoothies. Add one or two teaspoons to your soups or other liquid food. Sprinkle one teaspoon or more on your fresh salads.

Chlorophyll and lemon

Chlorophyll is one of the best ways to detoxify the colon fast. Your colon needs to be detoxified constantly to prevent toxins from getting into your blood and seeping into your facial skin where they can create acne. It also helps the skin keep healthy by acting as an

* antioxidant

* anti-inflammatory

* anti-microbial agent

* absorber of heavy metals in the colon

Here are some of the benefits you will get from drinking chlorophyll,

* Heals open wounds inside your body

* Increases re-growth of tissues

* Helps to heal sores in your mouth

* Acts as a antiseptic

* Destroys bacteria

* Brings more oxygen to your cells

* Give protection from low levels of radiation such as TV, computers, microwaves, and hospital equipment

* Reduces toxins in the colon and body

* Helps to purify the liver

* Helps sores heal faster

* Reduces pain from inflammation

Here’s how to prepare it first thing in the morning,

* Place 2-3 tablespoon of plain liquid chlorophyll in an 8 oz glass

* Squeeze the juice of one whole lemon into the glass

* Add distilled water to fill the 8 oz glass.

The reason I add one lemon to this drink is to give this drink some flavor. I have a hard time just drinking chlorophyll and water. It has a bland taste. You may try adding the chlorophyll to some other drink if you like.

You cannot overdose on chlorophyll liquid that is why I sometimes drink 2 ounces plus the juice of one lemon in an 8 oz glass of water.

Causes, Symptoms, Types and Treatment of Freckles

Freckles vary in color from red, light-brown, brown, tan, yellow or black. They are more prominent in summer and among lighter-skinned people or those with light or red hair. Women and men get freckles at a comparable rate.

  1. Causes – the main cause of the development of freckles is the skins exposure to the sun. Often freckles will fade when exposure to the skin is reduced or eliminated. Melanin is a broad term for a group of natural pigments found in the skin. The accumulating of melanin in one place usually results in a freckle. Addition, genetic factors and hormone abnormalities can cause freckles.
  2. Symptoms and Signs – freckles are irregular solitary spots that sometimes may be grouped together. This makes the freckles appear larger and cover a bigger portion of the skin. Commonality is found between freckles, age spots and pregnancy mask that are formed in sun exposed areas of the face, hands, chest and back. The accumulation of skin pigment melanin produce these welcome brown patches.
  3. Types – there are two types of freckles:
  • Ephelides – is a term that refers to flat spots that are red or light-brown, appear during the summer months and fade in the winter.
  • Lentigines – these are usually developed by children with the start of a small, tan, brown or black spot that tends to be darker than an ephelis-type freckle and typically does not fade in the winter.
  1. Treatment – there are several effective treatments for freckles:
  • Bleaching Creams – the most beneficial treatment for lightning freckles is consistently applying hydroquinone and kojic acid over a period of time. Vitamin A when applied over a period of time will make freckles lighter.
  • Chemical Peels – these are used to remove age spots, freckles, discolorations, fine lines and wrinkles by making the skin smooth and firm thus gradually curing freckles.
  • Cryosurgery – is a light freeze using liquid nitrogen.
  • Laser Removal -the laser projects an intense light on the affected area causing the light to be absorbed by the oxyhemoglobin and melanin, destroying the darker cells, leaving the healthy cells intact. This is the most effective method to remove freckles. A newer form of facial revitalization is Intense Pulsed Light Therapy (IPL). IPL delivers intensity to the superficial (epidermis) and deep (dermis) layers of the skin. Therefore the epidermis is denied damage and there is virtually no recovery time.

Knowing the facts about freckles, what causes them, the types and the various treatments available is for informational purposes. Consult a medical professional before starting any treatment plan or if you develop any unusual skin irritations.

The Do’s and Don’ts of Using an Acne Cleanser

Using an acne cleanser is a simple and beneficial way to treat breakouts, but there are a few rules that go along with washing your face. Some are obvious and second nature, but others aren’t so clear. Read on to discover what ingredients to look for, which ingredients to avoid, and the secrets of how to use a face cleanser in the most effective way.

Do look for an acne cleanser with essential oils.

The most important thing to remember when using an acne cleanser is to keep your skin hydrated. Your sebum gland will over produce oil if you strip your face of its natural moisture, causing build up in your pores and leading to breakouts. A facial cleanser full of nourishing extracts and essential oils will not only cleanse, but also soothe and heal the skin so that it stays balanced and healthy. Need oil is particularly beneficial for all skin types, and works as an antiseptic to keep bacteria from causing acne.

Don’t buy a face cleansers with alcohol or benzene peroxide.

Benzene peroxide is one of the most common ingredients in a mainstream face cleansers you might find at the drugstore. While it does work to fight acne, it leaves the skin on your face dry, red, and irritated. There are natural alternatives that work just as well, and don’t damage your skin. Choose a face cleansers without alcohol in order to avoid unnecessary to the delicate skin on your face.

Do use an acne cleanser each morning and night.

Sounds simple, but sometimes it’s easy to be lazy or forgetful. If you let yourself slip at night and say “I’m too tired, I’ll wash my face in the morning,” you’ll get out of the habit of a healthy skin care routine. It’s important to remove all the dirt, grime, and grease from your face before you sleep on it for several hours. Dead skin cells and oils can build up and cause major breakouts and inflammation. If you take care of your face twice a day, your pores will stay unblocked and your oil glands will produce a healthy amount of oil.

Don’t expect to see results from your acne cleanser if you don’t use it consistently.

Oil production can get thrown out of whack when you don’t stick to your routine. Don’t expect overnight results; it takes time to find a balance and get used to a skin care regimen. Use your acne cleanser at the same times each day, and be patient while your skin heals itself and the natural ingredients promote health skin cells.

Do use an acne cleanser with a natural smell.

Lavender not only has an incredible scent, but it is calming from your skin as well. Stress can lead to break outs, so enjoying your daily skin care routine and relaxing each time you wash your face is beneficial. Eucalyptus, chamomile, and geranium are all extracts that not only help the skin, but also soothe the soul and calm the mind. Chances are, if you love the way your acne cleanser smells, you’ll love using it!

Pubic Hair Removal – 10 Tips To Help You With Successful & Pain Free Pubic Hair Removal

Both men and women share a common concern on removing unwanted hair. However, they have different body parts which need to be free of unwanted hair. For example, it is socially acceptable for men to have a mustache, but not for women. It is also socially acceptable for men to have hair in the underarms, but, again, not on women. One major area of concern for women today is their bikini line and so they are always searching for the best pubic hair removal product or treatment.

Aside from the fact that pubic hair on the bikini line hinders women from wearing sexy two-piece bikinis, it is also a big turn-off for their partners. Unfortunately, though women are convinced of having a clean bikini line, most are hesitant to go through a pubic hair removal routine because they are not sure if the process would be actually successful and effective.

If you are considering undergoing treatment for pubic hair removal, here are some tips which you can do to prepare for an effective and successful treatment.

1. Materials – Prepare all the necessary materials when planning to use the method of shaving for pubic hair removal. You will need clean, fresh sharp razors, shaving cream, small scissors, some soap, a loofa scrub as well as baby oil and some lotion. Make sure that you buy and use only the products of brands that you can trust.

2. Position – Sitting upright on a chair with your feet raised up above your waistline is the best possible result for shaving for pubic hair removal.

3. Small Trims – It is not advisable to go right ahead and shave your pubic hair. For pubic hair removal, always start by trimming your pubic hair short to make the whole process of shaving easier and cleaner in result. To trim, hold up a handful of pubic hair and trim inch by careful inch.

4. Warm Bath – A warm, hot bath following your trim will make your pubic hair soft and easy to remove later on. It will also add to a more effective or clean pubic hair removal.

5. Shaving Cream – Generously apply a shaving cream of your choice on the pubic area. Apply the cream right after your warm bath for better results. Other alternatives to shaving cream are shaving gel, shaving lotion or a generous coat of petroleum jelly. Again, make sure that you only use products and brands that you can use. It is also recommended that you test these products on a small area of skin to find out if you have any allergic reaction to the product. If you, after a few minutes, notice any itchiness, redness or rashes, perhaps it is best to use another brand or product for your pubic hair removal.

6. Prepare to Shave – Now that you have performed the above-stated preparations, you are ready for the major step in pubic hair removal. Of course, you can always choose to give it a design that you fancy. Most women simply want to clean up the whole area. Make sure to slowly and carefully shave to avoid cuts. It is not advisable to run the razor more than three times over the same spot as this will only irritate the skin. Stretching your legs far apart will give you access to areas that are normally hard to reach. For first time shavers, it is best to shave gradually. Allow your pubic area to adjust to the process of shaving.

7. Exfoliation – Once shaving is done, exfoliation on the pubic area is advised. You can use a light soap. Avoid using one that is too strong as this might irritate the skin especially when it is soaped right after shaving. Again, for this part of your pubic hair removal, use only brands of exfoliants that you can trust. You may use the softer kind of loofa or body scrub or sponge. Exfoliating after shaving will help remove the dead skin that has been covered for a long time by your pubic hair. It will also clean up the pores and therefore, help prevent skin irritation. The only important thing when you exfoliate is to make sure that you do it gently and softly.

8. Moisturizers – It is good to moisturize the pubic area after all the shaving and the exfoliating involved with pubic hair removal. You can moisturize your pubic area using baby oils. Aloe Vera is also one favorite alternative for moisturizing as this has natural skin-healing abilities. Use only moisturizers that are light, fragrant-free and color-free. These kinds of moisturizers don’t have added chemicals for fragrance and coloring that may be harmful for the recently-shaved area. Mild baby powders may be applied after moisturizing.

9. Cleanliness – Now that you have carried out pubic hair removal and are cleanly shaved, it is best if you maintain a good hygienic routine. This would include the daily cleaning of your genitals and pubic area with feminine wash to keep your private area clean, sweat and odor-free as well as to protect it from irritation from wearing tight underwear or jeans.

10. Regular Shaving – Now that you’ve started with your pubic hair removal practice, it is good to keep up this routine regularly. Regularly shaving will prevent the pubic hair from growing too much which will then require you more time for trimming. Avoid stubbles of pubic hair as this can cause itching and discomfort. Needless to say, the more itchiness, the higher that possibility of you scratching it and the higher the possibility of it being irritated then.

Proper pubic hair removal is nothing more than these ten simple steps away. The important thing to keep in mind with every step is to perform it carefully as your genital area and your pubic hair is one of the most sensitive parts of the body. Also, the use of trusted products only could never be stressed highly enough. Where pubic hair removal is concerned, it is always better to be safe than sorry.

How to Get Rid of Penis Pimples

Penis pimples are certainly one of the most embarrassing forms of acne out there for us guys. No question about it. If you want to get rid of penis pimples, you have to know what causes them and what you can do to prevent these gross things for good!

Trust me, I had pimples on my penis for like 8 years. Talk about a confidence destroyer…

Imagine trying to get sexual with a girl and have her notice them. Gross! So, is there anything you can do about them?

Well after 8+ years with all sorts of acne, including zits on my penis, I am happy to say that there is.

Luckily, most forms of acne are all the same. Some people are just genetically susceptible to get them in different areas, including their penis (or even vagina is some women’s cases)

Treatment for any sort of acne, whether it be penis pimples, blackheads, whiteheads, or cystic acne is generally the same. Here are a few tips to get you started so you can go have some fun without being self-conscious.

  • Don’t over-scrub your genitals
  • – Some people (myself included) try to over-wash their penis in order to ‘clean it’ better. This doesn’t work and can actually make the condition worse! Wash your penis normally in the shower, preferably with a non-comedogenic wash, instead of regular soap.

  • Do NOT pop or squeeze penis pimples!
  • – If you want to spread the infection, that’s all you’ll need to do. Leave them be. There is something you CAN do about them but it’s not popping them.

  • Learn what foods are causing your acne
  • – This is the big one, and is actually the best acne treatment for penis pimples (or any form of acne that you may get).

When you are acne-prone, certain foods trigger sebum (oil) to produce on your body. This clogs pores and eventually turns into acne. For many people it’s on their face, neck, or back. Some people get this oil on their penis, and sometimes you can barely even tell that your penis is oily, but it still clogs the pores!

This is what is happening to you. Your penis gets clogged because certain foods you may be eating are causing an inflammatory reaction. There are foods you simply must avoid, and other foods that can help get rid of your penis acne once and for all.

There’s more to it than that, such as certain (all natural) supplements you can take in order to get rid of penis pimples.

My blog has all of the information you’ll need to get rid of penis pimples once and for all.

Alright, STOP. Here’s a recap:

Penis pimples are probably the most embarrassing form of acne out there for men today. But it is curable if you know what you’re doing.

Oily Skin Care Tips – Get Rid Of Those Pimples And Greasy Spots On Your Face Forever

Oily skin is not a disease, its just a skin texture that makes you uncomfortable from which you want to get rid of. Due to lack of proper guidance and information on oily skin care available, it has turned into one of the major skin problems resulting into pimples, acne, blackheads and many more.

Several factors are said to be responsible for the aggravation of an oily skin:

CAUSES OF AN OILY SKIN

1. Heredity is quite responsible for an oily skin, but so do hormones. Pregnant women sometimes notice an increase in skin oil with the changes in hormonal activity. So do women going for birth control pills.

2. Stress can also lead in the overdrive of the oil glands.

3. The wrong cosmetics can easily aggravate an otherwise mild case of oily skin.

Some of these causes are within your ability to control, but others you will have to learn to live with.

In most of the cases, oily skin can be treated at home. But sometimes, the situation demands more than just a home remedy. You need to call for a doctor if you develop sever acne or notice notice any sudden change in your skin. Otherwise, go for these tips and try them at home:

TIPS ON OILY SKIN CARE

1. Keep your skin absolutely clean – You might be quite aware of the fact, that oilier the skin, the dirtier it looks and feels. And to get rid of this, keep your skin clean by washing it at least twice a day.

Generally, some doctors recommend you to use detergent-type soaps on your face. As a substitute to it, you can add 1-2 drops of dish washing detergent to your regular soap.

While some doctors condemn the use of detergent-type soaps as they are too harsh for your oily facial skin. Instead they recommend glycerin soaps to be used to clean your face twice a day.

If using a detergent soap irritates your facial skin then try the glycerin soap,easily available over the counter.

2. Give Aloe-Vera a Try – This wonder plant of the household is the best at absorbing skin oils. Slice open a leaf and smear the gel on your face 3 times a day. Let it dry. Or you can also keep a small amount of gel in the refrigerator during the summers for a refreshing face-lift.

3. Wipe with Astringents – Wipe the oily spots on your face by rubbing alcohol or a combination of alcohol and acetone that helps degrease your oily skin. Many drugstores even sell pre-moistened, individually wrapped alcohol wipes that are really portable, you can carry them in your purse for quick touch-ups all day long.

4. Carry Tissue papers with you – Paper facial tissues are the best substitute of astringents as they help soak up excess oils in a pinch. Get those special oil-absorbing tissues from a cosmetic counter that are very in removing excessive oils between cleansings.

5. Rinse your face with cold water – Simply splashing your face with cold water and blotting it dry a couple of times a day is equivalent to applying chemicals to your skin. These cold water rinses remove excessive oils from your face.

6. Say NO to moisturizers – Do not ever go after those tempting advertisements compelling you to buy facial moisturizers for oily skin. These are the fatal temptations taking you to disastrous skin. Instead apply a sunscreen on your face before facing the sun or going outdoors. And yes, do not forget to check the labels for products especially designed for oily skin.

7. Make your own scrub – Make a paste of a small amount of ground almonds with honey and apply as a facial scrub for removing oils and dead skin cells. Now gently massage this paste on your face with a hot washcloth. Finally, rinse with cold water.

Another scrub from oatmeal mixed with aloe vera can prove to be very beneficial for you. Rub gently on your skin and leave on for 15 minutes, Then rinse thoroughly. And if suffering from acne on your face, then you should probably skip the scrub, as it can aggravate your already-irritated skin.

8. Apply Masques on your oily face – Masques prove to be very beneficial in reducing the oiliness. Either Clay masques or you can mix Fuller’s Earth (easily available) with a little water and make a paste. Apply this paste to the face and leave on for about 20 minutes and then rinse off.

9. Go for water-based cosmetics only – Try to make your skin breathe by living without make-up, especially foundation. Using make-up or foundation that are oil-based blocks the pores of your skin thereby resulting in blemishes. And if necessary, then use water-based make-up only, especially spot concealers rather than coating your entire face. In general, prefer stick with powder or gel blushers, and avoid cream foundations as much as possible.

10. Tie up your hair properly – Keep your hair away from your face as oily hair accompanies an oily skin.

11. Do not touch your facial skin – Avoid touching your face throughout the day as your hands deliver excessive oils and dirt.

12. Choose a powder for you – For that extra shine-free protection, use simple products for your oily face such as Johnsons Baby Powder. This makes a superb face powder when fluffed lightly over your makeup.

13. Splash on the hot suds – Hot water is a great solvent. So, warm water should be used to wash an oily face and that with plenty of soap. Hot water plus soap dissolves skin oil better than cold water and soap.

So, what say now! You are just a few clicks away from getting a new fresh and non-oily skin! Go ahead and check out for the home remedies for oily skin care at my health blog.

8 Fast Hair Growth Accelerator Tips You Can Use For Growing a Longer Mane

Want to grow a longer mane? Then you need a hair growth accelerator. Well in this article I will show you how to create a fast hair growth accelerator in your own home, by simply changing a few things you do every day including your diet and care of your hair. Here are a few ideas you can do to help make your locks grow faster.

1- Your diet is very important in maintaining healthy hair which makes your hair grow faster. Making sure you have plenty of protein and fatty acids in your food intake will make sure your hair grows at an accelerated pace; fish is a great source of both protein and fatty acids. If you are vegetarian you can make sure you eat lots of legumes and beans to gain the protein you need.

2- Water is an important accelerator when it comes to growing a longer mane and this is because it helps boost the immune system. So drink at least 8-10 glasses of water a day and begin taking vitamin B supplements daily.

3- For an even faster fast hair growth accelerator try using one of the shampoos in the Mira herbals line of herbal hair products. They contain herbs proven to stimulate blood flow to the scalp and mane

4- Another way to accelerate the growth of your mane is to use a scalp massage. Try massaging your scalp for at least 5 minutes a day to distribute the oils through your hair. Before you go to bed braid your hair loosely to protect it from being pulled while sleeping.

5- Trim split ends at least once a month, just enough to remove the damaged ends; this will prevent the hair from curling up and looking shorter and unhealthy. Then use organic shampoos to wash your hair. Organic shampoos don’t have the same amount of chemicals that regular shampoos do. For a conditioning treatment try using olive oil to make your hair soft and shiny.

6- Stress will cause thinning and falling out of hair so try to relax. If you are under stress this will do nothing to help your hair grow.

7- Try using Mira hair oil treatment as a fast hair growth accelerator.

8- Wash your mane when it needs to be washed using gentle shampoos and conditioners

Remember that everyone’s hair grows at different rates but in all cases good care tips like I have just shown you will help make it grow even faster. Stay with these suggestions and in no time you would have a longer thicker mane you can be proud off

How to Get Rid of Pimples Fast – 6 Step Overnight Acne Treatment

Photos coming up? Prom or school dance to go to? Special date in the next 24 hrs? This proven 6 step process will get rid of a problem pimple overnight!

Step 0: Do not Pop your Pimple!

I just added this pre-step in as some people can get so frustrated with their pimples that they simply pop them. This can make your problem worse. It will also reduce the effectiveness of the following 6 steps.

Step 1: Prepare your Ice Pack

Crush up some ice. If you have multiple pimples or a ‘pimple zone’ then increase the amount of ice. Crush the ice up and place it inside some aluminium foil. Place the aluminium foil ice pack inside a zip lock sandwich or freezer bag. The intent here is to have the pack as cold as possible. Place the pack back in the freezer. Do this just before step two otherwise your ice will freeze back into a solid lump. You want a crushed, ‘easily moulded to your face’ ice pack.

Step 2: Prepare your Face

Wash your face with soap, preferably an acne soap. Wash it thoroughly and if your skin remains oily wash it again. Dry your face but pat it dry with a towel. DO NOT RUB IT DRY!

Step 3: Freeze that sucker

Take the ice pack out of the freezer, crush it further if it has frozen back into lumps and place it inside a thin hand towel. This will let the cold iciness come out without freezing your face to the plastic sandwich bag. Place the ice pack over the offending pimple or acne area and hold it there for at least 10 minutes. If it feels too ‘cold’ just keep going as your face will go numb and stop hurting soon. The ice pack freezes the pore and forces dirt and oil out of the infected area. Be careful not to move the ice pack around on your face. If you need to adjust it then take it straight off and re-apply. DO NOT WIPE IT ACROSS YOUR SKIN!

Step 4: Blast that sucker

Apply your choice of acne cream to your entire face. We recommend Noxzema or Clearasil as this seems to give the best results. Rub it especially well around the offending pimple or acne area. Once applied, leave for a minute and then wash off with water. Dry your face but pat it dry with a towel. DO NOT RUB IT DRY!

Step 5: Repeat the Process

Wait 4 hours and then repeat Step 2 (Prepare your Face) and then Step 3 (Freeze that sucker) and then Step 4 (Blast that sucker). You should notice a considerable reduction in the size of the pimple or acne area already. At the end of the repeat of Step 4 though don’t remove the acne cream. Leave it on for at least 6 hours. This process is good just before bed and you can sleep with the acne cream mask on overnight.

Step 6: Final Face Wash

When you wake up (or at the end of at least 6 hours) wash off your acne cream with water. Give it a good rinse. Remember though – pat your face dry with a towel. DO NOT RUB IT DRY! You should have no more pimple! If the pimple isn’t still quite gone then you can repeat Step 2 (Prepare your Face) and then Step 3 (Freeze that sucker) and then Step 4 (Blast that sucker) again if you have time before your big event.
